Histological examination (biopsy), is the most important diagnostic method in Medicine and plays a very important role in the timely and valid treatment of the patient. The histological examination of the biopsy material is based exclusively on the diagnosis, prognosis and staging of the disease as well as the targeted treatment of the patient. It is, therefore, fully understood that the histological examination should be performed in a modern, organized, accredited and reliable Pathological Laboratory. Guided by the above principles and with the vision of providing the highest level of services, which will be recognized by our esteemed colleagues and patients, we established, in the center of Athens, the private pathological laboratory, which we called PathLabs.

SCIENTIFIC STAFF AND ASSOCIATES
The working staff consists of Pathologists with many years of hospital experience at the General Hospital of the Air Force 251 GNA, with Mr. Albanis Zannis (curator of the Pathology Laboratory 251 GNA) as the Medical Director. The medical technological staff under the direction of our experienced and specialized in the subject of Pathological Anatomy, laboratory technologist, takes care of the complete management and processing of the biopsy specimens, their archiving as well as the coordination of the immunohistochemical department.
